I’m nearing the end of my musical series, or at least a stopping point. I’ve been working on this series for over a year. In that time I briefly visited a few other ideas and I’m excited to dive into those more fully.

I used to focus exclusively on one concept before moving to another. I didn’t want to fall into that cliché of having tons of unfinished work, and I also didn’t want to (this is silly) hurt my artworks feelings lol. Like, I want to give the same amount of attention and love to every piece. BUT because of that my approach has changed. I started to feel myself burning out or rushing pieces because I wanted to finish before starting something new.

I have soo many new ideas for work and while it gives me some anxiety trying to balance them all, I’d rather deal with this than art block! I think the best approach for now will be to work on each one as the mood strikes, and see which one develops into my next main project.
